  1. I found the official firmware 3.0201, already installed
  2. want one for my 910.. key issue for me is the push to dial via bluetooth.. the original knob is so flat its hard to get center registration. does this knob help with that? I don't listen to music often, and have the steering wheel controls for volume.. but because my blackberry is connected to my company network, the screen is password locked after 5 mins. I need the push button to activate voice dial without having to unlock the phone Sam
  3. I have paired my Blackberry with my X910BT, and all works great most of the time.. one issue.. my truck is turned off. I am talking on the phone, and start the truck.. the Bluetooth connection takes over the phone.. (as expected) BUT I cannot hear the other person.. they can hear me. so, this says that the audio out linkage between the phone and head unit didn't get connected all the way.. this is a BT firmware job.. are there firmware updates for the 910? I see some for the F models.. thx for any pointers.. Sam
  4. do you have a CD loaded? these systems seem to want to get that all organized before showing the screen controls. Sam
  5. yes, but the 110/120 complaints seem to be 10 times more.. I hate the joystick on the 910.. seems to get jostled everytime I try to do anything..(mute really) I actually use the steering wheel controls cause I dislike the knob so much.. but the BT has been fabulous the 920/110 will be in the car my wife drives the most, and she is always on the phone with the kids.. so BT has GOT to work. we completely replaced our home phone system cause the vonage lines were terrible out here in the limited bandwidth rural environment we moved to. sam
  6. I don't see very many BT mic quality report problems on the 920 as compared to the 110/120... Sam
  7. ok.. no issue with the screen then.. whats the status of the bluetooth mic issue? Unclear to me if its solved, workable, or still busted and the 110 is upgradable to the 120 which does have Pandora.. Sam
  8. I have a 910 in my superduty for long trips towing our show car. handfree, backup cam, nav, music. I want to put something in our prius, long trips not towing, handsfree, backup camera, nav, radio. the 910 doesn't have a pandora receiver, while both the 920/110 do I can get a usb dongle that DOES support the audio streaming for the 910, but you can't connect to two bt targets at the same time.. phone or music.. I like the uncluttered screen face on the 110, but worry about the life of the motorized screen,, seems there are troubles with BT phone on the 110, and this is TH
  9. yeh.. to make the head unit setting work, the camera has to be powered on all the time. and the reverse wire just tells the head unit to show the camera input Sam
  10. No, you will have to install a switch on the input line to toggle between them Sam
  11. Hadn't thought about powering the cam all the time.. do these have duty cycles, or lifetimes we need to worry about? Sam
  12. You moved the Mute wire, right? once moved, its NOT the Mute wire anymore.. once moved, and both IT and the brake wire are grounded, video and Nav are permitted even when GPS and VSS says you are moving.. don't know how someone figured that out.. but.. works.. can't answer any of the other questions.. waiting for my 910 to arrive to install in my F350. got a long trip to take. sam
  13. you moved the Mute wire to a different socket, right? its an undocumented oin, that when grounded along with the parking brake overrides the internal controls.. sam
