Constant reverse camera help

So I tried hooking up the camera to the 12v constant power stream and the camera now wont work in reverse it only works while driving forward.... i think it might be because its a camera kit with sensors and the camera and sensors( steelmat ptsv401) plug into this brain or control box.... I could not figure out how to attach the camera to a constant source yet still work in reverse... and

The camera should not be connected to the constant power. I suggest following the install instructions that came with the camera or take it to an installer.
