Chico99
Need help. Just installed a new AVIC Z-120 in my 09 Accord with Premium sound system. Avic powers up, everything appears to work as expected. However, there is NO sound. Cross veryfied the wires, and installation looks fine. The only odd thing is that I used a voltage tester to test out the speaker outputs from the AVIC, voltage out is over 5, with the all radio voltage out was 0.2. Any ideas? Thx
JasonH
There are usually factory amps for the "premium" sound systems that need to be connected to the AVIC's amp turn on lead.
okie08vette
This happened to me also but my problem was I did not connect the blue white wire to the blue wire. The amp trigger wire needs to connect to the remote wire. Is your blue/white amp trigger hoooked up?
Chico99
This happened to me also but my problem was I did not connect the blue white wire to the blue wire. The amp trigger wire needs to connect to the remote wire. Is your blue/white amp trigger hoooked up? Thank you both, you were correct. I neglected to connect the SWD +B lead (amp +). Once corrected, the system now works.
