weird question but logictech harmony with z1? possible?

No the Z1 absolutely does have wireless capability. The IR receiver window is between the V button and the Vol - button.

Marauder's install used the SWI-X for the steering wheel controls and it does work:

There is a remote for the Z1 that is wireless, so you might need that to program it. I have had Harmony remotes since the very beginning and have had a few over the years as they get better and better. It might not be in the database, but it's possible.

You might need the remote control for it to program it:

Yes the Avic is a non-traditional "home electronics" device which Harmony would not include on its website. That particular remote should have the learn capability. if you have access to the SR1 remote from Pioneer, you can manually program all the IR codes into the Harmony remote. I have the Harmony 628 and it's awesome. there's very little those remotes can't do. You just need the time and patience to program them is all.

does the CD-R5 work with the Z1? it doesn't say but i'm just htinking it's practical to have it working for z1 too since it's the same company. you'd figure.

thanks
