kspayth Posted December 29, 2010 Report Share Posted December 29, 2010 I have the x920bt completely wired and working fine in the car, but not installed in the dash. I am able to move it around, arrange all of the wires, etc. and it still functions fine. Two separate times, when I've tried to mount it in the dash, I've been tightening the mounts screw and the car battery goes dead. The first time I jumped it and had no problems. Second time I couldn't get it started again until I disconnected everything. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

1loudls Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 well either there is a problem with the unit itself, the wiring or the interface module (if one was needed for the install) also having the key turned on with out the car running will eventually kill the battery every time, even faster if the key it turned to IGN instead of ACC...
