holmstj
Anyone have a bricked bluetooth portion of their F series unit and revive it? Tried to load an update to bluetooth and system hung up with no response after 35 minutes. Shut down system and now I have no bluetooth functionality. Phone button has action but will not enter the phone menu. Any help would be appreciated to get this functionality back. All other functions on this f700bt work fine. Thanks. holmstj
Ok, got it figured. Evidently when system hung, the loaded portion being left corrupt in the system caused no access until about 10min after system start up. After, I was able to gain access to the bluetooth menu and see the software version show "none installed". Reloaded bluetooth software and all is well. Phewww!
nabassu
how did you "reloaded" bluetooth software? My f710 is showing that i don't have any BT firmware, and therefore i can't update, because there is nothing to update. Same thing in service menu, BT test mode, nothing found. Strange thing is, i have pluged in the avic year ago, tested all the "gadgets", it was ok, now i wanted to pair my dads phone, and i have "no firmware". WTF?!
tail24
From Pioneers Website. This is for a f700bt I would assume firmware should work just fine. If you look there are directions on how to do it, it is very simple. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-F700BT
