bart41 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 Hi I'm new here, so I just bought a brand new avic-x920 and yesterday everything was working fine until today. While driving, I noticed the arrow on the map was constantly looking right and sliding left with the direction of the car. Basically while driving north, the arrow is facing east at all times. I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue? If so, what can I do to fix it? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Harvey_Gordon Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Just a thought, no guarantee. You can try to hit the hard map button. My unit does this about once a week. I have no idea why. I just hit the hard map OR I tap the compass three times (in my unit the compass changes the mode from 2D North up, to 2D directional, to 3D) and it goes back to working fine, sometimes for weeks, but sometimes not.
