nelldanator Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 every time I try and play MP3's either by sd card, or usbflash disk, it will lock the unit up. If I have more than 12-15 tracks, it will not even load the list, or let you change songs. Heres how it goes, I plug in usb, it loads a list, select a song, and it starts playing, somtimes I can change the song once, or maybe twice, then it will lock up the unit, I can't adjust anything other than the volume, it will play out the remainder of the song and then dead air. whalepirot Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 I wonder if a file is corrupted. I'd check the card and the USB with my computer like I'd check any other drive. Then, I'd format either/both in FAT32 or 16, as the head unit can handle. I run HD in one car but only (either) FAT file system works. Your unit may have a capacity restriction, too.
