Brett3rThanU
What do I lose by moving the mute pin/wire over one space in the harness? I'm not sure what the "mute" wire does? Can I no longer mute my stereo? Will the sound no longer dim when I get an incoming call?

You can always manually mute by holding the AVIC hard-button on the far left. The audio source will automatically mute (full, 10% or 20% depending on settings) when you use the BT connected cell.
