js117
I finally got my Z1 from an Ebay seller, anyway the manual says that "it isn't possible to play DVD-Audio music". Is this true or is there a way to play it. also if possible do I need the 5.1 upgrade?
NiwPix
I hope u found the answer on the 1st page . U can play DVD Audio but not DVD/CD-Mp3. Has anyone tried saving the Audio-DVD on the Z1 harddrive?
whtcrxghst
It will not play true DVD-Audio disks. DVD-audio is true six channel audio processing. The only decks that Pioneer has that offer it are the AVHP7500/7600/7800DVD. You can add the the DEQP8000 5.1 processor and AXMP8000 display to the Z1 to get Dolby digital, DTS, or Pro Logic 2, but you will not get DVD-audio out of a Z1
NiwPix
Thx for the reply, but that doesn't really answer my question . Just wanna know if anyone tried recording the Audio-DVD to the Z1 harddrive.

Yep, Thanks, seems pretty pointless to bother with. I was hoping for something like the TL offers, true DVD-audio. Oh well, if I ever get this Z1 to power up I will on my way.
