paintb4707
Hi guys, I will be selling my old Pioneer Avic F900bt. However I forgot to do a factory reset when the unit was still connected and it has my Home address, POI's, and some other stuff saved that I don't exactly want the next person to see. Is this information still stored on the hard drive after the unit is disconnected? Is there any way to reset it while its not hooked up to my car? Thanks
casemods
Stick 2 wires into the computer molex and hook it up to the head unit. Yellow and red from head unit = yellow pin on the molex. Black = black. Use a digital multi meter to make sure you get the right ones though.
FourG
What casemods said. Definitely Factory Reset the thing, I bought an F90BT used and it showed up with the guy's home address and phone number still programmed in (I factory wiped the thing as soon as I saw it, but probably should have done that from the start).
