AVIC-X930BT no volume control after bypass

Recommended Posts

2003 IS300 with Metra TYTO-01 harness

Did the bypass on my X930BT , moved mute wire straight up/down depends how U looking at it , connected to green parking wire and ground it .

Unit starts normal , DVD plays with shifter on D , parking brake not activated , but I cant change/control volume !!! In right upper corner where volume indicator was now only 3 big letters ATT ???

Tried everything , checked connections , wires and so on

When I disconnected grounded wires ( green and yellow ) volume control goes back to normal ...

could it be that I somehow didn't move the yellow wire right ? May be its not all the way in in the connector harness ?

Don't know what to do , any help would be appreciated

That SCREAMS "you didn't do the bypass right" it's the yellow wire causing it and it's most likely in the wrong location.

That answers you too coachzenn
