nhmtns Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 I'm having trouble with a few features on the AVIC-D2 I had installed recently. For some reason, some options aren't highlighted so I can't select them. For example, I can't adjust the look of the vehicle dynamics display. Is there something I'm not doing right? nhmtns Posted January 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that's not the problem because I've been sitting in my parking lot with the parking brake on trying to figure everything out. I also can't change the background of the Navigation or AV. Is there a chance that something wasn't installed correctly? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Make sure that when you set and release the parking brake that the unit says off and on when you do this. The car may have to be running though. Some cars, mine for instance, will say the parking brake is on even with it off unless the engine is running. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
