hoglaw Posted July 2, 2011 Report Share Posted July 2, 2011 new to the forum and need a little help. bought the 930bt and post-install as i am going over it with the installer, the box says 9310bt. Installer says its the same unit, just different number he gets. Mutual friend so i say ok. so after hours trying to get bluetooth to stay connected to my htc incredible, i am looking for firmware updates. seems there are two different units. then again i could be wrong. looking for whether that really is a 'dealer' unit identical to the 930bt (it is appearance wise) and any help on the BT problems. thank you. ebuckmaster Posted September 8, 2011 Report Share Posted September 8, 2011 I was told by Pioneer Customer Service that the difference is the warranty. The 9310 has an additional warranty for selcted resellers such as CarToys where the 930 has the standard warranty. Melophat Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 i'd be willing to bet that the bluetooth connection issues is with the DInc, as opposed to the stereo.. I have the x930bt with an HTC DInc, and had problems with it also. I was never able to get the connection stabilized with the stock ROM on the phone.. I rooted and replaced the rom and no more problems. I can't vouch for every rom, but I know with skyraider 3.5 and up, CM 7+, and MIUI 1.9.16+ there are no problems..
