ddhyd Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 i currently have a z2, bypassed and updated. i am thinking about upgrading to a 130bt. the question is, what will i be gaining and what will i be losing by upgrading. and are the harnesses swappable or will i have to rewire the whole works. thanks for answering guys! I also have a Z2 and want to connect my iPhone...but it seems the hardware is not moving forward and we need to look at the 130bt. I know you guys have the simple answer....GIVE IT UP !!! RonS Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 I won't get into compaing features btw Z2 and Z130, since I never had a Z2. But the Z2 harness connectors are different, so you will have to re-splice (not rewire) your existing wiring. Not really a big deal. Use the heat shrink/solder butt connectors available and any auto or home store. solder is in the butt connector, you just heat it until it melts. Finis The bypass is different too.
