Tgragg Posted August 5, 2011 Report Share Posted August 5, 2011 When I get in the truck in the mornings I have no power what so ever Sometimes in the afternoon around lunch I can get in and it might power up and it might not I've been now 2 days with no power Anyone have any idea what might be the problem I know I have power going into the unit so I'm thinking head unit If I'm right where might I find one Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted August 5, 2011 Report Share Posted August 5, 2011 I would check the black, red, and yellow wire connection on the back of the radio and where they connect to the harness. I saw someone that had this problem and the the cause was in the connector from the aftermarket converter harness (that attaches to the AVIC harness) that plugs into the factory harness.
