Security - Z130BT: How do you keep it low?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I just bought Z130BT and I was a proud owner of a Pioneer Premier 940MP for around 10 years. Before that, I got robbed once in full daylight because I forgot to remove my faceplate of my older HU. Now, with the Z130BT, I tend to freak out as there is no way to remove the faceplate. How do you guys keep it low profile not to catch theft attention?

I was thinking of increasing my windows tint, but if there are better solutions, let me know so I can sleep a bit better...

Thanks!

JF

Install a flashing LED so it looks like you have an alarm system. Under $5.00.

Ebay has fake double din faceplates you can stick over it

OR if you have your factory double din, take the faceplate off and glue in the buttons.

OR go to the junkyard and pull a cheap looking double din out of a car and do the above truck

ORRRRRR make it look like theres nothing there, make a plate that fits over it with some fake switches so it looks like you removed the radio
