Eggsack
How can I remove phones saved in bluetooth connections?
garrettoomey
There is really no reason to remove a paired phone. If you get a new phone, just pair it with the Z. The only way to completely remove the phone is to do a method 3 or method 4 reset (back to factory default). See page 187 in the Z3 owner's manual.
JohnnyDepp
There is really no reason to remove a paired phone. Sure there is....sometimes the Bluetooth stack gets corrupted and one needs to start from scratch to repair the Bluetooth stack for that connection and re-pair the phone. Pioneer blew it on this one...should be a way to delete registered pairings on the Pioneer side of the equation. Fail.

BCBowers
Yeah, but then you have multiple phones still showing which is kind of annoying. I recently got an iPhone 4 and was trying to figure out how to remove my old Motorola W385 from the list and couldn't. Also, I purchased my truck used with the AVIC-Z2 intalled so the previous owner's phone is still in there as well.
