does pioneer have a remote that works with our X series

Recommended Posts

Thanks i acutely just found the thread about the PAC WRI-P interface that lets you use remotes

And i have been doing some reading

but it seems like everyone compatibility says it only goes up to the X920BT models

like when i look at Crutchfield or on PAC website and sonic

they don;t offer it as being compatible with the X930BT but they don;'t say it doesn't

i wonder if it just has not been updated in a year and they never updated for the Newer Models

I am thinking that instead doing the SWI-PS or SWI-RC steering wheel interface i would rather have a remote

because my wheel only has Volume up and Down and Seek/Track Up and down on the same button so only 2 buttons both go up and down

but that is not much help for other features

So i wonder if it will work with the WRI-P and the X930BT

yeah i saw thats what PAC recomends

the one i want is the Steering wheel remote that others have used with the older Z series and the Older X-Series

but i just don;'t know if the WRI-P will work with the X930BT

id Asume that it should but who knows for sure

and wondering if anyone here has used it before for the X930BT

It will work.

ok cool so the

WRI-P and the CD-SR1 or CD-SR100 will both work ?

I was wondering the how do i plug it into the Remote wire thats the blue wire comming out of the Harness right ?

the 3.5 Jack on the WRI-P has to be pluged into or wired into that correct ?

or do i have something confused right now

also does the WRI-P have to be programed like the SWI-PS or RC does ?

or is it all just plug and play and then the remote will work or do i have to program the remote also ?

thanks

yes i understand that i don't have the unit yet and im going to get it sometime next week

so i don't have access to the manual right now

id just like to know if it has to be programed like the SWI interfaces

or since it runs directly to the unit and its not control the steering wheel nothing has to be programed except for the remote or ones the remote finds the unit it automatically works

How can he read the manual if he don't have the module yet? He is trying to get this info together so he buys the correct stuff.

Help a bother out.

It isn't in the HU manual.
