NeedDvdDisc Posted October 28, 2011 Report Share Posted October 28, 2011 so my iphone 4 works fine with the video cable I have etc... but when I use the ipod classic it tries to find it then sais it can't recognize it. I made sure the ipod 4th gen had the newest software which it does, and it works with my ipod cable for my PC but the AVIC it will not. Any idea's? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

There are so many iPod versions I can't keep them straight. According to this chart http://en.wikipedia...._of_iPod_models I had a Classic 4G "Photo" that wasn't supported. I don't remember what the AVIC message said when I plugged it in. I had to get something newer. Bottom line is that it doesn't seem that yours is supported.
