vcyeh
hello, I have a 2005 tsx with non-navi. I am looking to buy the avic n3 but I have few questions. I want to make the install as quick and easy as possible. So first off... 1) I understand there is a switch on the navi that will let u watch videos while in motion and also just ground the brake wire and it will be good to go. 2) What is the purpose of the VSS speed sensor wire? Is it a true necessity to have this wire in order for the avic n3 to function?? What if you do'nt connect it? if the VSS wire tells what speed you are going, doesn't normal GPS hand held units calculate your speed already?? 3) Exactly how many wires do I have to hook-up/tap-into to get the avic n3 working as intended? Power, ground, constant, brake-wire ground, two RCA cable (for my setup), and... is that mostly it??? thanks a lot!
