ronsno
Is anyone using the AppRadio with Siri? Can you use it hands free while driving? Can you bring it up hands free while driving?
grradams
you still have to initiate siri using the home button on the phone but the audio will work through the appradios bluetooth connection.
Irish Assassin
I found that Siri can't understand me through the Bluetooth mic. Anyone else find this? Apparently the call quality is fine on both ends.
maccrap
I've noticed I have to be a bit louder, but otherwise Siri seems to work as well as she does on just the phone..

Irish Assassin
Where do you have your mic mounted? On my old stereo I had it up by the rear view mirror and it seemed to worked ok. Now I have it on top of the steering column with the AppRadio and it Siri seems much harder to use. I dont know if its the mic location or the new stereo.

It's less than 12" from my mouth. Also try this to up your mic volume, from the home screen, go to tools, button on upper left of screen. Then goto the general settings. On the bottom right is an icon that looks like 3 bars. Select this option. Here you will find 3 options, one of which is Handsfree. Select this up then up the volume. I set mine at 3 and actually had someone tell me it was to loud. I want others to try this and confirm my results.
Irish Assassin
I turned my mic volume up and Siri works much better now. I don't know about call volume yet though.
