madmanfrommars
I noticed this on pioneer's site: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... sComponent So what, it allows you to control music through the head unit from any ordinary usb MP3 player? And what is this: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 31,00.html

madmanfrommars
Does it work the same as the CD-IB100s but just without the box?
cntrylvr79
Just like alpine's ipod cable. It only works on the new pioneer radios. From what I've been made to understand anyway.
whtcrxghst
Ya, only works on the newer stuff and it transfers video to the D3
whtcrxghst
Yep. They even have a CD player that comes with the ipod and USB cables. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 08,00.html I noticed this on pioneer's site: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... sComponent So what, it allows you to control music through the head unit from any ordinary usb MP3 player? madmanfrommars
Ya, only works on the newer stuff and it transfers video to the D3 So it plays video? Damn, that would be a nice feature to have through a future upgrade disk.
cntrylvr79
Don't see that happening. The ipbus line pioneer uses transfers control information and audio only. The new system they use ibus allows the video and everything. Now what would be cool is if they made a module that converted ipbus to ibus.
whtcrxghst
Agreed. I assume the N4 (if thats what they will call it) will do it though since it is coming out so much later than everything else, so there is hope for single din users Don't see that happening. madmanfrommars
They're listing a new backup camera now but no information on it: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 00,00.html I'm hoping its cheaper then the other one they have. If it is, I might have to pick one up.
