VBLUE42
Do you have the proper iPod cable?
s84kam
yea i connected the cable and it works. But i figured bluetooth would be wireless... and it doesn't work without the stupid cable. Its annoying jumping in the car for a 10 minute ride and having to pull out the iphone
VBLUE42
Well Bluetooth is wireless. And nowhere in the documentation does it say anything about being able to operate the Pandora source or Aha over Bluetooth. You can of course use the Bluetooth streaming source with Pandora but you wont get the same interface as with the Pandora source.

1loudls
so... if you hook it up like it says in the manual, it works fine, but when you try to connect in a way that is not shown in the manual it doesn't work? sound about right? sounds like you already have your answer. boostedstd
I'm having the same issue with my thunderbolt. Some times it connects fine and plays pandora then the next time I get into my car the phone connects properly but the pandora app doesn't want to play through the radio and it shows that its all connected. Very annoying. Any suggestions?
1loudls
welcome to the wonderful world of bluetooth, sometimes it works great, sometime it doesn't work at all, most of the time its somewhere in between. the only things you can do are check to see if there is a BT update for either the phone or the AVIC, then delete the pairing and re-pair the devices.
