AVH-P8400BH bypass (SWITCH)

Recommended Posts

So i went and purchased the 8400 and i can't seem to figure how to get the bypass to work with the switch... I understand there is another discussion regarding a module but I want to use what I already have and its an unused switch. Now, theres that damn green wire that needs to be grounded to powered ground (does it HAVE to be powered ground? because chassis ground still goes to battery ground) do I wire that up to my switch and the other end of the switch to ground?

OK THIS WORKS! Here is a wiring diagram for you guys who want to save a few bucks.

have the switch open prior to start up, and then close the switch.

A ground is a ground. Also it might be better to just follow the known bypass proceeders already provided on this forum instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

Some people won't give up, I really don't like the idea of paying/waiting. Anways I hope this helps others!

not be a "tard", when looking at my relay , and ur schematic, ive used pins 85,87, etc. etc. and diff. configurations to get ur schematic to work and i cant, so can you "SPELL" it for me & give me the pin #s please and thanx in advance( after 1 week im over toggle switch, and dont wanna spend another 20 bux for online bypass) im so fn sick of laws/restrictions, it says right on my pack of cigs,"surgeon general warning-smoking is not safe"-fn lawyers mess everything up(suing/laws)
