simmo Posted June 27, 2012 Report Share Posted June 27, 2012 Guys I have tried to update to the 4.0 Hybrid but when I select the update by SD/MMC (FORMAT) then push reset for 5 secs it just boots the system up normally and not into testmode?! If I do not push reset and just leave it then a message in red comes up at the bottom of the screen saying "update by SD/MMC (FORMAT) has failed Can anyone please assist? The navigation voice is a US male, how can I change to a UK voice? Also my iPhone 4s on iOS 5.1.1 is crashing my unit, after the iPhone is connected if I press any other button like menu or map it will just freeze my system??? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
tail24 Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 This is most likely an iPhone issue not an avic issue. You will have to grab the voice_tts files out of your back up I believe and place them in the appropriate folders. The base files used for this was a US avic so you get UC voice files.
