gm2376
Tried searching and couldnt find anything. I want ti get a z1 or d3 and run xm and gps through my factory xm antenna. I have a 07 trailblazer ss, and evryplace i asked said they can't do( which i figure is bs) and say i have to use a seperate antenna. I also have onstar which i need to keep in tact. Is this possible? Would i need the xm moduale, or would i just use the factorty one. It would be replaceing the bose 6 disk changer. Thanks
sportsfan21
evryplace i asked said they can't do( which i figure is bs) Its not bs. You will need to buy a new XM module, you can't use the one from the factory. The XM antenna might work for XM, but you still need to run a seperate antenna for the GPS. You can keep the bose and onstar, I don't know the numbers off hand, but Peripheral makes adaptors so you can keep Onstar, Bose and the door chimes.

sportsfan21
Google Peripheral and look on their website.
cntrylvr79
http://peripheralelectronics.com/prodDe ... strSearch= That's what you'll need. Yes factory mx antenna can be reused. You need to run a new gps antenna. Other than that have fun.
jaki30
not usable? The module is functional. What is missing?
cntrylvr79
The factory tuner will only work with the factory radio. There is no interface to allow the aftermarket radio to control the factory xm tuner.
