vulaevuz3
Recently purchased a new Z140BH. Ive been trying to get the unit to play Video files on the USB but it cant seem to read it. The media files works fine. I looked at the manual and it indicated that the avic will read WMA,AVI and MP4 files. Ive tried both the AVI and MP4 files all under 2g as specified in the manual and even with differnt movies. It indicates that all files unable to read will be skipped. I tried movies or video clips from .4 to 1.2g. Any help would be great.
zx6rrdan
Most likely the total bit rate is too high. Here's a post I put in another thread with the settings I'm using that work. I had some trouble getting this to work in the begining... here's a screen shot of the selections that have my videos working and looking good.

viren.89
Thanks !! The only thing is that even though my videos are HD they still ain't smooth. There are slight boxes that appear sometimes.
rgarjr
that's because of the very low bitrate that is required to view them.
giblets46
Also try Xmedia Recode software, has inbuilt settings for the Avic series (F30bt, and F40bt, which I understand should be the same as the Z130bt and Z140bt),
