The vehicle also has a Passport 9500ci which is a concealed system but comes with a small display. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to hack/jailbreak te unit in a way which would allow me to input other video signal for something like this. TIA Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It goes in between the display and the main interface. It retails for $149.95 and uses ethier an Iphone or Android. Not sure if the info displayed on the phone will display on the headunit though. The other thing is that the Escort Live app relies upon the number of reports from other users in your area. If there are only a few people that have the system where you are you will only get a few reports. Here is the link so you can figure out for yourself if it is a good investment for you. VBLUE42 Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 This is certainly an app that would be appropriate for the App Radio but Escort has to know the unit exist and has to devote resources to make it work with the unit and that is the part that makes it unlikely. onevmo Posted October 25, 2012 Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 Ok my 9500ci/Escort Live system is finally complete. I had to wait for Apple to release the 30-8 pin adapter to connect to my Z130. Here is what you will get. 1. VBLUE is correct you will not get anything on screen. 2. You will get voice alerts through the headunit if your phone was in speaker on when signing in to the Escort Live app. 3. Only the audio messages that the Live app generates are heard through the headunit not the 9500ci. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
