z130bt and iphone 4gs audio bluetooth playback

Recommended Posts

Having an issue,

I can connect my 4gs to my z130bt via bluetooth. The calling functionality works fine, but for my Audio, it SHOWS the current title ect on the screen, but when you hit play it plays the music through my phone. This wasn't an issue and suddenly became one without any changes. Does anyone know of a possible fix? I can't find any setting. Also on the iphone there's no "play through other device " little button when songs are playing like there use to be (same feature as if using netflix and an appletv is in range, will give option of playback).

Not sure but you may want to see if the cable connecting the iPhone is just a charge cable or data too. I've had cables before that when plugged in would do either one or the other but not both. Mine recognizes my phone as soon as I plug it in. But I also got the connection kit free with my 130 and I have a DICE cradle.

onefast96svt, he is talking about bluetooth not a cable. Try un-pairing and rebooting the iPhone, then repair. I've also had this happen on occasion, just the flaky Z130BT acting (ab)normally - no really, it's a feature.

onefast96svt, what does the DICE do for the 130? I know it was one of the product choices to connect my iPhone before I got the Z130, but what does it do with a 130? Is it just a cradle? I have one from proclipusa that works fine, but will be obsolete next week when my iPhone 5 arrives.
