fatdad Posted October 7, 2012 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 I finally finished hooking up all the media for my car. The one problem I'm having is with the micro sd. It plays the video perfectly in the front seat but will not send the video back to my headrest monitors. I set dual zone to mirror av and still nothing. I know the video out is fine because I can send video from my iPhone back with no issue. How do I enable the SD card to send video out from the video out? This will be really helpful so I can use my iPhone for music and the sd slot for the rug rats in the back. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
pionara Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 did you check the manual? this might be a limitation. I think only video in signals (like iphone/ipod) or dvd/divx video played on dvd will mirror out to other video outputs. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

pionara Posted October 8, 2012 Report Share Posted October 8, 2012 it's how video is produced and routed inside the unit.. dvd/divx go through a separate hw decoder chip which outputs to a video mixer, as does the video inputs. this can be "mirrored" to the rear outputs. the stuff on sdcard is decoded in software and will only overlay onto the front/main screen at least that's my best guess... thought i also recall somebody talking about this here as well Quote Link to post Share on other sites
