tcope Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 Right now I have the backup camera set to turn on only when the back up lights come on. But the X940BT has the ability to turn the camera on even while the vehicle is moving forward or parked. I'm wondering if anyone has power running to their camera whenever the vehicle is running. Do you think the lights (IR?) would burn out more quickly if wired this way? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Nimbus117 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 If you power the camera from a +12v ignition controlled source (instead of the reversing lights) and the signal to the 940 from the reverse lights, you can select reverse view any time. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
