pnanda
works great on my Infiniti Q45. I actually have it on the left side of the steering wheel and the infrared signals have no difficulty getting to my Z1. Highly recommended. One thing though: the volume buttons are at the back of the remote and you have to use soft pressure, otherwise there is a chance that the remote will eject out of its holding - which is not a big deal as you can snap it back to its place. May be I can fix the holding tab once and for all to get rid of this issue. When I get time, I will try and post a picture.
aznsmartass24
yes, the volume controls require a light touch on the back of the remote. Either that, or you can put an equal amount of pressure on the front side so that it wont fly off the restrant. The remote looks like crap, and doesnt come close to an oem look. I dont like how it makes my interior look, but it is functional. Also, the IF makes it very hard to use in sunlight.
johul
IMO it is impractical. I used it for 2 or 3 days and then sold it on E-Bay. I was constantly hitting it and knocking it loose. Seems like every time I went around a corner I would knock it out of the holder and it would go flying. I do have steering wheel controls so it was rather redundant. I liked the idea of the phone controls but in real life it just wasn't practical. All that said, it does look like something that should come with a $5 toy- not a $2000 piece of precision equipment. madmanfrommars
I have the CD-VC1 (which uses the same remote) for my N3, and personally I like it. I find it most useful for flipping through the radio presets.
