beachman
My Navfree (Sweden) doesn't work either. I have AR2 European FW 8.17 Iphone 4. It's only black on my Headunit. I think there is a problem with the navfree app...
sandman77
Have you gone into your iPhone settings a d turned on appradio support for the app? I have just noticed the USA version of the app is 2.06 and the UK version (that I have) is 2.05. Guess what 2.06 introduces? Yes, improved iPhone 5 appradio support. Looks like I need to wait for navfree to update the UK app.

sandman77
Ok, I got a reply from Navfree support regarding this. They confirmed that navfree version 2.06 or above is required to work with an iphone 5 and the appradio. The UK version of the app is only 2.05 and hence it doesnt work. He advised that they are currently testing version 2.1 but because they are also updating the base map for this version it has been slightly delayed. He didnt give a timescale but I am happy a fix is on its way.
sandman77
That's navfree 2.1 released in most regions and I can confirm that everything seems to work fine using an iPhone 5.
