2007 Honda Cr-v/Civic VSS and reverse wire

Hey guys,

 

I am installing my AVIC right now and cant seem to figure out which wire is the VSS.

 

My old stereo had the gets quiet or loud depending on speed, so it must be in one of the 3 harnesses I found.

 

I am also looking for my reverse wire.

Ok so which vehicle do you need vss for? If it's the hivstic, it's blue at the radio harness. The crv is below

 

Speed Sense white/green or blue/white ECM/PCM, pin A18 or E26

Notes: The ECM/PCM is behind the glovebox. Connector A is a gray 31 pin plug. Connector E is a white 31 pin plug.

 

Reverse for the hivstic

Reverse Light brown (4dr) or purple (2dr) + dr kick or fuse box, top 42 pin plug

 

Crv

Reverse Light green/black + frt of fuse box, 18 pin plug, pin 1

Its a 2007 CR-V, i figured they would be the same. I am trying to locate those wires now

There are no wires behind my glove box... There was 3 harness behind the dash plugged into the stock unit and 2 of the 3 harnesses has a blue wire. Is that info for the 2007 CR-V??

That's what I have listed for an 07 civic and an 07 crv. If there's 2 blue wire and the factory radio had speed controlled volume test them. One of them might be vss.

I have looked and looked but still can't find my VSS wire. I think its causing my navigation to be slightly off sometimes when I take an exit or turn.

 

I have tried suggestions given before and still no VSS. Does anyone know were I can find it??

After some serious trial and error I found it!!!

 

If anyone else is looking for VSS in the 2007 Honda CR-V it is the dark blue in the middle of the main harness (i.e. the harness with power ground and all the speakers.)
