The manual simply says that it's set at a frequency that should help overcome road noise. That is a very arbitrary statement! Does anybody here know any details? I'll contact Pioneer and post here if I get an answer. I may have to test it myself with test tones, time permitting... Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Sorry, I do not know what frequencies the Bass Boost will effect, other than the low frequencies. I have ask our engineers to see if they can explain further."
