madonionrings
I recently attempted to update my maps to 2012. During the process, Acronis gave me an error message that it could not write to the drive. I could however still see and read the 4 partitions. I popped the drive back in my Z1 to see if it was still functioning and received the error message that it was an unusable drive. Needless to say the Z1 locked the drive again. How can I access the service disk menu again with this message? I need to unlock the drive again to start the re-imaging once again. Thanks!
garrettoomey
See my post here for unlocking the drive: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/30763-hdd-unlocking-free/?p=226886
madonionrings
I managed to get the drive unlocked again through HDD unlock. Now that the drive is blank, and all the partitions have been removed how to I restore the drive and all the partitions from the .tib image? Is there a walkthrough for this anywhere? I see the one you had posted earlier, but that assumes existing partitions exist on the drive. Thanks!
garrettoomey
In Acronis, select the tib file as source, select the blank drive as the source and Acronis will create the partitions.
