ComputerJLT Posted September 19, 2013 Report Share Posted September 19, 2013 so i have an avic-z1 that the eject button seems to do nothing. i've tapped it, held it down and pushed about every combo of buttons with it and it wont move the face. i know the face works cus it was tilted a bit in the car i took it out of. also the tiny reset button seems to do nothing either. anyway i saw in a thread about a manual eject slot "on the bottom" but i'm not sure what that means. i see nothing obvious to poke pry or spin to make the face come out or down so i can tear this thing apart and fix the button. anyone have any ideas? ComputerJLT Posted September 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 ahh ok i tried turning that but it seemed awfully tight. i managed to get this unit opened once by pressing extremely hard on the eject button. i didnt risk closing it before i have a chance to fix it Quote Link to post Share on other sites
