George01v6
Looking at the manuals for the AVIC-D3, they list all these shortcomings with the different XM receivers, and a few with the Sirius. It also lists XM as having "enhanced grapical interface" but doesn't mention that for Sirius. So far I like Sirius because of all the good rock stations they have compared to XM. My question is, what are you limited to with Sirius, as far as graphics? Can you not see the song listed or change channels quickly? I'm guessing it's just like the D2
whtcrxghst
Its looks better than the D2, but doesn't give you any more information or channel logos like the XM does. Have you seen Sirius on the Z1? Its similar to that
George01v6
Bummer, I was hoping the updated receiver (SIR-PNR2), or the AVIC-D3 would enable all of that.
hybridamp
I have to agree with you; Pioneer has been historically slow and behind on their interfaces with satellite radio devices, but after trying an Eclipse AVN-5500 briefly (for two weeks) after I sold my D2, I can tell you that I will never use any brand other than Pioneer for my in-dash navigation. So aside from the satellite radio interface and the extremely weak 2v rca pre-outs, the Pioneer is superior imho.
