rwilimo
Hi, 7000NEX, I have an iPod classic connected to USB 2, when the the ignition is cycled the iPod starts all over at the beginning. I hope there is someway to overcome this as it is driving me crazy, is there a setting I have missed??? The same iPod connected to my Z130 goes right back to where I left off. mentalcase
It could be your battery. I'm sure the unit uses the ipod to handle resume, so maybe it's dying as your car is off? Unless this happens when just powering the car off for a few min.
rwilimo
No, its not the battery, quick restart of the car and it happens. I currently have a Z130 in my truck and the iPod works perfectly in that so I know its the 7000, just not sure why...
rwilimo
***Solved**** Turns out it was the iPod, Here's the model info if anyone is interested: 5th Generation 80 gig software version 1.3 will start at the beginning after each ignition cycle although if connected to an AVIC-Z130bt works fine iPod classic 80 gig software version 1.1.2 works perfectly
dvarapala
I have the same issue with my 8000NEX (iPod starts playing the first song in its database after an ignition cycle). I have an original 60GB video iPod - still woring after all these years. Like yours, this iPod will pick up right where it left off when used in a different car (with a different brand of iPod interface).
