SBSYNCRO Posted May 26, 2014 Report Share Posted May 26, 2014 Hey guys, I literally JUST finished a major install in my truck that included the AVH-5600BHS head unit. I installed the Pioneer CD-IV203A cable kit along with an Apple VGA-to-Lightning connector, but when I plug the phone into the connection it says "incompatible USB". There are no aftermarket cables, just the ones provided in the Pioneer kit and the Apple adapter. Is this a configuration issue in the head unit, or have i got something else wrong going on...? SBSYNCRO Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2014 Figured out the problem. Its just the buggy-ass way this thing works. If you don't have "bluetooth" set as the connection and then you dock your iPhone 5, it will give you an "incompatible USB" error message. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
