When I asked about the CD-R55 not being on the website, she says "It's brand new - that's why you haven't seen it on our website yet. It should be available soon." Of course she does not answer the other question about whether a steering wheel remote is or will be available. Cannot be ordered direct from Pioneer. Currently, no price available. Should similar in price to the CD-R5. The CD-R55 is a handheld remote very similar to the CD-R5 remote, but update for operation of the AVIC-D3, and AVH-P4900DVD. Thank You, Mike Customer Service Representative This Sux! Sometimes the CRs are just reading from a script and it may be that the SR1 or 11 are not listed as compatible with the D3. Won't be the first time that CRs don't know what is what. Since neither of the two CRs ever answered my question to them about the D3 and the SR1 or 11 - I'm wondering. If you guys get a chance, would you be able to check on your next installs? I will use the SR1 until they have a steering wheel remote that works. Basic use of the radio/and I-Pod is what I need it for anyway.
