Corey497
Is it the same as the other models...?
ducatiboy
It's probably very similar to the other models but unlike the other models, the OS is not on a DVD, it's on the hard drive. As soon as someone figures out the hard drive format and access, I would assume there would be new boot up pictures. I would like that myself.
maxse
IS everyone getting that pop up message every time they turn on the navigation... I always have to touch 'ok; to use it. ITs like a disclaimer thingy. Any way to get it yto stop popping up all the time I start the car? Thanks.

Yep, I get that and I doubt you can get rid of it... now without some software changing on the hard drive. But I would assume there is nothing "external" you could do. Guest
so you have to always touch "ok" whenever you want to view the map or watch a DVD and you just turned the car on correct?
ducatiboy
Yep. No disclaimer screen for the radio or audio part but there is one for the nav and for the DVD. But there is one of those in every GPS unit ever created I believe (or at least any mobile one for car use or installed from the factory).
edrock200
I could be wrong, but I believe this disclaimer exists on all navigation units, not just Pioneer's. Even my portable Magellan pops up a disclaimer on startup.
