hvs69 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 The title says it all. This is contrary to what other people have reported on the BTB200 phone compatibility thread. The carrier is Cingular. The unbranded phone, I must say, was purchased from ebay and came from Malaysia. The AVIC has been set to "Autoconnect". Moto has been set to "Connect Always" for Pioneer unit. Is there something I am missing ? Should I re-flash the phone firmware to a US version (if it exists) ? Thanks. The BTB & V3i do make an attempt to autoconnect everytime I boot D3 but the connection gets dropped after I see a window popup on my V3i for a fraction of a second (It says something like "Bond with Pioneer BT2"). This is irrespective of whether I have set V3i to "Always Ask" or "autoconnect" The other interesting thing is that if I try to do a "Direct Connect" from D3, I get pretty much same behavior with D3 stating "Connection Error". The only way I can currently connect is by manually initiating connection from my phone. Can anyone offer me any suggestion. ? I am already looking at reflashing my phone with a newer firmware and flex. Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
