The reason why all nav units have a hidden bypass is so the retail shops can demo the units in thier demo boards. However it is not legal in the US to operate routeing or dvd functions while driving your car. If the UK hs laws forbidding such hidden bypass capabilities in the units then it may not work as the US units do. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
