I just bought a new trailblazer SS, and want to get the D3 installed..the problem is i dont know a whole lot about cars. Anyone know a good ( cost effective) shop in the chicagoland area? 23V Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 Abt Electronics in Glenview is great. I had an overhead DVD installed in my wife's Equinox there last year. They only install products they've sold, however, so if you already have the D3 you'll need to look elsewhere. They are pretty good at price matching, so if you can find a better price from an authorized dealer, bring in proof and they'll beat the price. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The guys from Mobile Tel in West Chicago said they will do the entire thing (amps, speakers, rewire, d3, etc) for about 350-400.
