eghostrider
Hello All, I'm trying to ground the parking brake wire on my 2006 F-250, but I have located 3 green wires. I have a light green, med green, and dark green wire. Which one do I cut and ground? I'm afraid of screwing up my D-3 unit if I do the wrong one.
cntrylvr79
You ground the one coming off the back of the d3.

eghostrider
It was installed by the Audio store, I just want to bypass the parking brake. I'm just trying to figure out which wire to ground. Thanks.
DssHobby
Ok the Dark Green and the Dark Green with a black line is your Left Rear Speaker. The Light Green is the brake cable. the one you will need to Ground. Ground it to metal part of car and if there is paint scratch it off to get a better ground. Also I would recomend if you cut the wire you put black electrical tape on the other side (Side not grounded but cut) so it will not touch anything else and possibly cause problems.
