Install has been a Pain in the A**

Recommended Posts

Well after waiting for 2 weeks (due to shop backlog) I dropped my car off to get my D3 installed.

Some of the problems I ran into (none of them Pioneer problems)

-Shop sold me the wrong harness.

New harness was $100 more (For a total of $200)

-Shop had the wrong dash kit. Had to send off for the correct dash kit.

Left the car overnight which means I had to borrow my wifes Ford ZX2.

-Steering wheel control module was the wrong one. Have to order a new brand to try out.

The bad thing is I got off of work at 6:30 this morning, dropped the car off at 10:00 and I stayed up the whole day because I was so excited about getting my D3 installed. Had to go work tonight without my precious car and without any sleep

I will keep you guys updated.

BTW the car is a 2006 Monte Carlo with the Bose system.
