V70
...specifically a 1998 Volvo V70... I've read through the threads dealing with bypassing the D3, but couldn't find much about installation of the D3 in Volvos. Does anyone know if there is anything unique about the wiring system in Volvos that might hinder the installation process? Has anyone seen any common problems when installing or bypassing the D3 in cars as old as 98? I'm getting it installed (professionally) tomorrow and am getting pretty nervous that the bypass won't work. The installer didn't know much about bypassing the D3, so I copied a bunch of text and pictures from avic411 to move things along. I have learned a great deal from reading through the threads here and am very grateful for your help thus far and in the future.
MisFit
Speed Sense yellow/black keyless module The keyless module is located above the hood release. It is a black box with 2 green plugs. everything else is in the wire harness they will use. the bypass is the bypass, it doesnt matter what car its in
