Swancoat
Does anyone have any idea what the cheapest phone out there is that can transfer the full phonebook across? I want to buy one on ebay, and not actually use it for phoning, just to carry a bunch of contacts from my computer to the car.
tommy_the_revelator
I just got a samsung u540 today and when I transferred my contacts into my D3 I did it all at once. Not sure that it is the cheapest of all the phones out there, but I do know that it can be done using that model phone.
Swancoat
Is it Verizon? Seems like it's a Verizon phone for the most part. However, given Verizon's reputation for crippling their hardware, I'd like to make sure that if I pick up a Verizon, it'll do the transfer.
tommy_the_revelator
Yes, it is Verizon. With this phone it gives you the option to select which contacts you want to send to the unit. When I transferred my phone book, I just selected all of them and they all went over in one transfer.

Russell No, contact transfer is only possible with the phone that transfered them and there is no way to copy the info from one paired phone to another. However, you can try my workaround here: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... t+transfer Third post down.
Tacomarunner
Yeah i didnt think so, I can use the phone to make the call and use the d3 to talk. It works, even when connected to the iPod interface, just mutes music and calls.
